About Leah Bentley

I’m a community advocate and trusted resource rooted in San Diego. Trained in classical music, I bring discipline, initiative, and a continuous drive for improvement to every project. My career threads connection and service through roles in real estate investing, brokerage support, and mortgage lending.

After seven years as a professional musician, I built a personal real estate portfolio—completing multiple renovations and managing tenants. I then supported top San Diego agents for six years, gaining hands-on experience with contracts, negotiation, marketing strategy, and lead tracking while handling office management. Another six years on a mortgage lending team deepened my understanding of financial strategy and asset stewardship, and I began hosting educational events that connected community leaders with residents.

I regularly organize community efforts—blood drives, pet adoptions, scholarship fundraisers—and stay current on legal and compliance matters affecting real estate contracts and advertising. Since 2019 I’ve served on the Friends of Downtown San Diego board, joined the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance in 2022, and became a Rotary member in 2024.

Married since 1999, we have shared a journey through parenthood, military service, higher education, and property investment. We moved to San Diego in 2006 and have been proud to grow our roots in this dynamic community. I’m passionate about promoting the best of San Diego and helping people thrive.  As the Operations Manager for the Lotzof Group, I am excited to support the team and our clients through all aspects of their real estate journeys!
